The Work

Participatory Installation

2019-2025

This is an expanding installations that grows with each iteration. Gallery goers are invited to submit their definition of an “everyday revolution" -- something they can do promote change on a micro or macro scale. From this submitted text, I make protest signs that fill up the exhibition walls at my next exhibition. The person who submits their ideas are given buttons or posters of the signs, receiving someone else's thoughts in exchange for theirs. This project seeks to develop new ways of communicating with strangers about the complexities of personal, social, and global change.
